AVC Challenger-Asian Games National Team Confirmed, Heo Soo-bong, Lim Dong-hyuk, and Lim Sung-jin are Young Pheebs

The men’s volleyball roster for international competitions has been finalized.

The Korean Volleyball Association 스포츠토토 (KVA) on Wednesday announced the 17-player roster that will compete at the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Challenger in Taipei, Taiwan, in July and the Hangzhou Asian Games in September. The team convened at the Jincheon National Athletes’ Village on the 1st of this month for intensive training.

The roster is dominated by young players in their early to mid-20s.

The setters are led by two young players, Hwang Taek-ui (Armed Forces Athletic Corps) and Kim Myung-kwan (Hyundai Capital).

Park Kyung-min (Hyundai Capital) and Oh Jae-sung (Woori Card) form the libero lineup.

Na Kyung-bok (KB Insurance), Jeong Ji-seok (Korean Air), Hwang Kyung-min (KB Insurance), Lim Sung-jin (KEPCO), Kim Ji-han (Woori Card), and Jeong Jeong-yong (Korean Air) were selected as outside hitters.

Heo Soo-bong (Hyundai Capital) and Lim Dong-hyuk (Korean Air) were selected for the outside hitter position.

Kim Kyu-min (Korean Air), Park Joon-hyuk (Woori Card), Lee Sang-hyun (Woori Card), Kim Jun-woo (Samsung Fire), and Kim Min-jae (Korean Air) will join the middle blockers.
