World Youth Baseball Championship U-18 team roster confirmed… A total of 20 people including Hwang Jun-seo

 The roster of the national team to participate in the World Youth Baseball Championship has been confirmed.

The Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBSA) is preparing youth national team coaching staff and players to participate in the 31st World Youth Baseball Championship (under 18 years of age) to be held in Taipei/Taichung, Taiwan from September 1st to September 10th. was finally confirmed.

KBSA held a meeting of the Performance Improvement Committee at Mokdong Baseball Stadium on the 16th and appointed Yulgok High Baseball Team coach Moon Yong-su (head coach), Cheongju High School coach Kim In-cheol (pitching coach), and Gunsan Sangil High School coach Seok Soo-cheol (fielder coach) as coaches for each field. For each position, a total of 20 players, 9 pitchers, 2 catchers, 5 infielders and 4 outfielders, were selected for the final entry. 

The youth national team this time included Jotani “Jotani” Dae-hyeon (Gangneung High School senior) and Jeon Tani “Jeontani” Jeon Mir (Gyeongbuk High School senior), who are active on the high school stage as a two-time pitcher. ) and Yuk Seon-yeop (Jangchung High School senior) along with ‘Little Oh Seung-hwan’ Kim Taek-yeon (Incheon High School senior) guard the mound.

‘Geopo’ Lee Sang-jun (3rd year of Gyeonggi High School), who won the World Power Showcase, and ‘Maknae’ Lee Yul-ye (2nd year of Gangneung High School), who participated as bullpen catcher in last year’s tournament, will play an active role as the host. In addition, Park Ji-hwan (Sae-gwang 3rd year), Yeo Dong-geon (Seoul High School 3rd year), Jeong An-seok (Hwimoon High School 3rd year) are expected to form a keystone duo, and Lee Seung-min, known as the son of Samsung Lions head coach Lee Byeong-gyu, is Lee Seung-min. A total of 12 countries will participate in the 31st World Youth Baseball Championships (under 18 years old), and Korea will be placed in Group A and will play Taiwan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia and the Czech Republic in the preliminary round. Group B consists of USA, Japan, Venezuela, Panama, Netherlands and Spain.

The top 3 teams from the Preliminary Round will advance to the Super Round, and the top 2 teams will advance to the final round by summing up their opponents’ records (2 matches) and the Super Round scores (3 matches) from the Preliminary Round. 먹튀검증

With the goal of returning to the top for the first time in 15 years since the 2008 Edmonton Games in Canada, KBSA will convene a team at the end of August to conduct strengthening training in Korea, improve the team’s strength, and then depart for Taiwan.
